An avid sea kayaker and canoeist since 1969, Heather Harbord has paddled extensively, including the Gulf Islands and the Strait of Georgia between Vancouver and Cortes Island. She has also paddled much of the West Coast of Vancouver Island, as well as the Queen Charlotte Islands. Heather was the first president of the Sea Kayak Association of BC.
