Adolf Hungry Wolf is a prolific author of numerous books on railroading, history, nature and native cultures. With his family he has written over fifty books while homesteading in the Canadian Rockies. For thirty years he has studied the traditional ways of his wife’s tribe, the Blackfoot Confederacy, while home schooling four children.
Beverly Hungry Wolf was reared in a home frequently visited by the last of her tribe’s buffalo-era elders. As an adult she has combined a natural lifestyle with cultural and ceremonial teachings passed on from the Blood Nation elders.
