-----Campfire anecdotes that entertain and inspire people of all ages as they
ponder the lessons of nature. Discover how Hummingbird helps us appreciate our
beautiful work. Find how Eagle and Raven have helped other living things meet the
challenges of life. Cohos dedication shows the reward of never giving up when
trying to overcome obstacles. There is a message in Wolfs howl and the sad
mourning call of a distant Loon. The creatures of nature all have something to tell
us. Each story is accompanied by a beautiful graphic.
---- This is a book that transcends any singleclassification. Based on traditional
values and a love and respect for nature, these stories offer simple messages and
family-oriented thoughts. Eagles Reflection is one of those rare books hard to
isolate in one bookstore classification. Parents and grandparents will share it with
their children. Teachers will love it. It is truly a book for all ages.
-----It is rare that you hand a manuscript to a variety of people and get a unanimous endorsement. The author
has crafted a voice that works on a universal level. His is not a language of cliches and perfect verb tenses. It is a
dialect influenced by the spirit of Eagle and the wise words of Grandfather. Robert James Challenger
Jim Challenger is a west coast artisan who gained a love and appreciation of nature at an early age. He and wife,
Joannie, have built their home for their family in a Vancouver Island forest glade near the ocean. Here, Jims
artistic side took root and he developed a unique process to carve his designs into rounded beach stones
collected near his home. With time, as he enhanced his designs, Jim refined both the graphics in Eagles
Reflection and the stories he created to describe their symbolism.
