Don Douglass holds a degree in engineering and economics and has written several outdoor guidebooks for mountain biking and skiing. He is also the author of Exploring Vancouver Island's West Coast. In the past twenty-five years Don and Reanne have logged more than 100,000 miles of offshore cruising and consider the Inside Passage world-class for it cruising and kayaking, for its excitement and exploring pleasure.
Reanne Hemingway-Douglass holds a degree in French from Pomona College, attended the University of Grenoble, France and Claremont Graduate School. She is a free-lance writer, her articles have appeared in outdoor magazines. She is the author of Cape Horn: One Man's Dreams, One Women's Nightmare. Their company, Fine Edge Productions, publishes outdoor guidebooks and detailed topographical maps.
