Anchorages and Marine Parks

Peter Vassilopoulos ---- This is an excellent reference book for persons cruising the British Columbia coast. "Anchorages and Marine Parks" lists sheltered anchorages and the BC Marine Parks situated up and down the coast. The many anchorages are illustrated with diagrams and photos that include all the popular cruising spots, such as the Gulf Islands, and the Inside Passage. For example, on pages 46 and 47, the author outlines anchorages in and around the City of Victoria. Starting on page 269, the author describes the sheltered anchorages and coves in Barkley Sound and the Broken Group. Scuba diving and kayaking regions are also included in this user friendly book.
